AM Squad Membership - Important Notice
Membership of the AM (Morning) squad requires that each swimmer provides and adult to supervise at least one session per month. Non commitment to this stipulation will exclude that/those swimmer/swimmers from the AM squad.
Rosters are produced each month and the onus is on each person to either do their rostered session or to ensure that they themselves have gotten a substitute. (Phone numbers are provided.)
Committee members have no obligation to fulfill YOUR responsibility. The coach has the right to cancel any session that the rostered parent or substitute does not turn up to.

Qualification and Consideration for Grade A - Important Notice
AM Membership requires swimmers to have met the qualification standards for Grade A or the consideration standards for moving from Grade B to Grade A. The Grade A qualification can be achieved in a number of ways.
Achieve the 200M Freestyle time plus any of the 100M times from a choice of 100M Backstoke, 100M Breaststroke, 100M Butterfly but not the 100M Freestyle.
Swimmers can also qualify if they have achieved the 100M IM time plus ANY of the 100M events including the 100M Freestyle. Swimmers can also qualify if they have achieved the 200M Freestyle and 100M IM times.
Qualifying Times for Grade A
Girls 200M Freestyle Under 2.58.00
Girls 100M Freestyle Under 1.23.00
Girls 100IM Under 1.31.00
Girls 100M Backstroke Under 1.35.00
Girls 100M Breaststroke Under 1.44.00
Girls 100M Butterfly Under 1.41.00
All AM Swimmers are required to make 5 out of the available 7 sessions at a minimum to be considered as having acceptable attendance levels. 90% attendance levels means swimmers are present at 6 out of the 7 available sessions per week.
Full attendance means swimmers are making all available sessions (7 per week). Any swimmers whose attendance level is deemed less than acceptable will have their position in the AM squad reviewed by the squad coach.
Movement from the PM lanes to the AM lanes without Grade A Qualification times can be achieved based on the times achieved by the swimmers in galas, Consideration times from PM to AM are regularly reviewed by the AM squad coaches. Swimmers who have made the consideration times will be notified by their coach of if/when they will be moving to the AM squad.

Qualification and Consideration for Grade B - Important Notice (Effective as of 7th October '08)
PM Squad Membership requires swimmers to have met the Qualifying Standards in order to move
from Grade C to Grade B.
Swimmers MUST make the 100M Freestyle Standard time plus the 100M Individual Medley Standard time.
As of the 7th October 2008 NO 50M time is counted towards Grade B Qualification.
Swimmers may swim a maximum of 5 events at any Grade C, 2 of which must be the 100M Freestyle and 100M IM.
Qualifying Times for Grade B
All Grade B swimmers are required to make all 3 sessions per week as outlined above. Failure to do so may result in a review of the swimmers position within the squad by the squad coaches.
Movement from the Grade PM2 lanes to the PM lanes is determined by times achieved in galas, based on 100M IM Consideration Times
and is reviewed on a regular basis by the PM Squad Coaches. Only swimmers who have met these consideration times,
or have achieved their Grade B times can move across.
Swimmers who have recently made the consideration standards will be notified by their coach of when/if they will be moving lanes (movement between lanes is at the Coaches discretion).

Qualification for Grade C - Important Notice
Qualification for the PM2 Squad is determined by the PM Squad Coaches. Grade C is the first competitive grade for swimmers, therefore all PM2 swimmers must be able to swim 100M Free and 100m Individual Medley (including the fly length) without stopping as these are mandatory swims at all Grade C Galas.
Swimmers must swim a minimum of 2 events and a maximum of 5 events at any Grade C meet.
Swimmers who achieve the Grade B standard can no longer compete at Grade C competitions.
PM2 swimmers are required to attend all 3 sessions per week as outlined above, failure to do so may result in a review of the swimmers position within the PM2 squad by the Squad Coaches. Club Rules and Information for All Squads
