Welcome to Dolphin Swimming Club!

Dolphin offers its members an opportunity to learn, train and compete in the sport of swimming. Since its foundation in 1901, this great Cork club has produced many elite swimmers, some of whom have gone on to be Munster and All-Ireland Champions, Irish Record Holders, Swimming Scholarship Holders and Olympic Swimmers.

This dedicated website hosts information on the Learn to Swim Programme, club information, training sessions and squads, meet information and results, and contact details for Coaches and Officials.

Please note that on top of Club membership subscription (as per the membership form) and the Swim Ireland registration fees of 8.70 per non comp swimmer (excluding those in their first year in the club) and 27.30 per comp swimmer, each club member must pay a Levy to Swim Ireland.

The AGM of Swim Ireland this year passed a proposal that each member of each club shall pay a levy to Swim Ireland for the next two years. 15 Euro for the first person/ swimmer in the family, 10 Euro for the second, 7 Euro for the third and 7 Euro per person/swimmer thereafter. We understand that this will be an extra expense for most of the families involved in the club but we are not in control of the situation as it is a Swim Ireland levy not a club one.

Munster Squad Qualifying Standards and Criteria as well as Claim Forms are now available to download from the Squad Training & Notices Link.

The PARENT DECK SUPERVISION ROSTER has been posted up for the month of January 2009, and is now available to download from the link opposite.

Training Notices for AM & PM Squads

Swimmers and Parents are asked to note the following:

PM, PM1 and PM2 Squad Training resumes Tuesday 6th January 2008 at Mayfield Sports Complex.

Changes to Graded Competition

Swimmers competing at Grade C Level, and Parents of Swimmers competing at Grade C Level are asked to note changes to the Qualifying Standards from Grade C to Grade B. This information has been updated in the Squad Training & Notices Section and is effective as of the 7th October 2008.

Please also note that the Consideration Times for PM and AM Squads have also been revised and these changes are effective as of 10th December 2008.
